NST 10 Service Territory Chair – David Lippitt
|Prior to becoming NST Chair, David was a member of the Northeast Region Board. He also held various positions in Area 3 of the Northeast Region, including President, Executive Vice President, Vice President of Program and Council liaison. In 2020, he was a member of the National Churchill Committee sub-committee dealing with Council Standards.
David was the Chief of Staff for the Alpha-Bravo Base Camp at the 2023 National Jamboree. He also served a number of years as a Scoutmaster for National Camping School. He is National Camp School certified Trek Leader (Voyageur). He is a trained NCAP assessment team member. David is past President, Council Commissioner, and Council Vice President of Camping of the Seneca Waterways Council.
David is a Silver Beaver and Antelope recipient, awarded the Order of the Arrow Vigil Honor, and has received his Woodbadge beads. Prior to his retirement in 2015, David worked as a school, labor and employment law attorney for 28 years.
NST 10 Service Territory Commissioner – Sal Ciampo
|Prior to serving as Commissioner for NST 10, Sal was a member of the Northeast Region Board and the Northeast Region Area 2 Commissioner. He is an instructor at National Camp School and is serving as National Camp School Director. He is Chair of the National Properties Strategic Analysis, and a member of the National Outdoor Program and Properties Committee.
Sal is a District Award of Merit recipient, Silver Beaver, Silver Antelope, and Silver Buffalo Award recipient, has been awarded the Order of the Arrow’s Vigil Honor, and has received the Distinguished Eagle Scout Award.
Outside of Scouting, Sal is the proud father of Trevor, an Eagle Scout. In the community, he is a member of the Lions Club International, an Emeritus member of the Board of Trustees of Molloy University, and served twelve years on the Board of The Glaucoma Foundation. He is a member of the Order Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, and the Knights of Columbus.
NST 10 Service Territory Director – Brad Bowersox
|Brad has enjoyed more than 50 years in Scouting, earning his Eagle Scout Award, and awarded the Order of the Arrow’s Vigil Honor. He has served as Scout Executive in Maryland and Michigan, and is currently serving 20 councils and 70,000 members of NST 10 and 11 in New York and New England.
Brad is married to Michele, they live in Fairport NY, and have two boys, Brett and Adam (both Eagle scouts). He is active in the community, serving Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, his Church, and Leadership Programs. Hobbies include hiking, reading, and community service.
